Mayo Clinic’s Knowledge and Evaluation Research Unit
Lead by Dr. Victor Montori, the Knowledge and Evaluation Research Unit maintains the Shared Decision Making National Resource Center and actively develops new decision tools. Current topics include cardiovascular disease prevention, depression, diabetes, osteoporosis, percutaneous coronary intervention, and smoking cessation around surgery. All are publicly available.
A population health management service for health plans, providers, or self-insured employers created by Rite Aid. In addition to case management services, Health Dialog creates decision tools for common conditions, several are available in Spanish. Group Health published their results of implementing Health Dialog tools for hip and knee surgery in Health Affairs in 2012.
